Hi All,

Finally moving back east in the fall. We will be in Bronxville, New York. We are still keeping our place near one of the National Parks in Utah where we hope to spend the summers.

Look forward to keeping in touch and our next reunion, God willing!!!

Hi, Class of 65!  Just wanted all of you to know that the Class has renewed this site for another year. So now is a good time to update us on your whereabouts and what you've been up to since our last gathering. Would love to hear from all of you. No one has ever won the waiting game so jump on the site and let us know how you are. Me? Heading north to Vermont from Florida this month (trying to live from lifestyle to lifestyle in shorts only). Hi MHS grads, I am your classmate Harald Wandel's neice. Found this page googling his name and was surprised to find he was listed on the in memoriam page - he is very much alive!

Seeing all of you, putting together names and matured faces with o-l-d memories, and watching my peers dancing the night away has been a treasure for me.  The committee's work and presence was stellar.  Wishing you all good fortune for the next fifty!

What a great reunion! It was so much fun to see you all. The years dropped away as the weekend progressed. A huge thank you to the committee for all their hard work. It really paid off.

It has been a week and I am still smiling from the fabulous weekend that our wonderful Reunioon Committee put together for us. Thank  you very much!  It was great to re-connect with old friends and to connect, in some cases for the first time, with other classmates who were previously unfamiliar.  How perfect!   (Jim W - don't forget to send the SJP pix!  )   Hugs all around!   Pam 

I would like to add my thanks to the committee. It was very well done. It was great to see averyone and to get caught up.
We have truly lived through some extraordinay times and many have done amazing things with their lives.

Words cannot express the gratitude that I think all of us have for the endless work the committee did on Our Reunion. It was unbelievable seeing so many friends who I grew up with Since Murray Avenue. Everyone looked Terrific. Let's not wait for the 60th. Can't we have our 55th sooner than later. I now wish I had written a Bio about my past 50 years. After reading everyone's, I should have. The complishments of everyone, well I need to read them over & over again to really absorb how Great Our Class IS/WAS. It is an honor to be in the Class of 65.

I can't say enough about the committee that put together this reunion. I hope you all appreciate how much you and warmth you all created for everyone who attended Friday and Saturday. You deserve all the kudos and praise you are, I'm sure, receiv ing. Job well done. Thank you and great to see you all and everyone else who attended.

Warm thanks to our wonderful Reunion Committee!  You did a wonderful job!  Your special touches didn't go unnoticed! Bob and I had such a wonderful time Saturday night connecting with old friends and acquaintences, not to mention the dancing!  We're just sorry we missed Friday night.  Forgot what a fun class we were!  Now we're fun "Seniors"....literally!  Thanks again!       

For all the hard work, thank you to the organizers of a very fun reunion. I'm sorry that I was only able to be there on Friday but I'm grateful for the chance to catch up with old friends.

(And thank you to the person who posted mine which I uploaded to Facebook and lacked the time to figure out how to get them over here. Someone took the time to do that and to add the missing IDs and my classmates' married names.)

Wow, what a WONDERFUL two nights !!!  So much fun seeing friends from the "old neighborhood" and those from my 3 years at MHS.  Many fun and fond memories relived. 

To the Organizers and Committee a VERY BIG THINGS ANK YOU for the work you did putting this reunion together.  To those I saw and talked with - so great seeing you and for the memories past.

Husband takes the wife to her high school reunion. After meeting several of her friends and former school mates, they are sitting at a table where he is yawning and overly bored.

The band cranks up and people are beginning to dance. There's a guy on the dance floor living it up large, break dancing, moon walking, back flips, buying drinks for people, the works.

Wife turns to her husband and says, "See that guy?  50 years ago he proposed to me and I turned him down.

Husband says: "Looks like he's still celebrating". 

 

    She's beautiful and she lives right across the street.  I can see her place from my kitchen window.  I watched as she got home from work this evening.  I was surprised when she walked across the street, up my driveway and knocked on the door.  I opened the door, she looked at me and said, "I just got home, and I have this strong urge to have a good time, dance, get drunk, and have fun tonight.  Are  you doing anything?"  I quickly replied, "Nope, I'm  free!"  "Great," she said.

I really like seeing all the Mahiscan Yearbook Sr Pictures in the profiles! Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to upload your "HS Selfie" and then your "Now Selfie"!!!! 

I have uploaded my photos from Friday night to Facebook and they are visible to all who have friended me. I will be glad to friend any new folks and when there's a place here to upload them, I'm sure I can figure out how. 

It was a really fun evening and many were missed!

Just got back to LA and the warm fuzzy has yet to dissipate.  Jill and I loved catching up with so many wonderful people.  Kudo's to the Reunion Committee as none of this would have happened without your dedication.

Just wanted to tell the committee what a great job they did!!!!!  Thanks for all your hard work, it really paid off!  I had a great time and it was good to see everyone...The two places you picked couldn't have been better...Thank God there are people like you who give of their time to make the rest of us happy...Thanks again...

The spirit and resourcefulness of the Reunion Committee gave our weekend a special aura— vibrant and mellow.  At the risk of sounding like Mr. Rogers, thank you for all you did and who you are individually and together.

It's very cool to see those 1965 faces flash by as I write. I'm still savoring the pleasures of weekend and poking myself about the lure of social media to stay in touch. (Ahhhh Facebook- I tend to ration myself.) ) I expected that that the reunion would be great to connect/reconnect with everyone, but who knew it would be SO much fun: mellow, fascinating, new, old?  

I think of Holly's generosity in bringing and spreading out our old newsletters. Pam's stories of life out west. Martha and Arthur dancing, the Chatsworth photograph that gave me a flashback to a black and white photo of many of us posing on the steps of the old brick and stone entryway. I think of the number of friends from farther away, of the friends from back then who I didn't grab the time to touch base with... and the ones who could not be with us. A 55th? A 60?th Yikes. Be well, Everyone.
